The Next Program from ULLI: Natural Burial with Larkspur Conservation

Larkspur Conservation: a 501(c)3 non-profit organization:

The Mission of Larkspur Conservation is to preserve and restore land across Tennessee through a revival of natural burial practices that heal the earth and offer sanctuary. 


Green or natural burial is a way of caring for the dead with minimal environmental impact that furthers such legitimate ecological aims as the conservation of natural resources, reduction of carbon emissions, protection of worker health, and the restoration and/or preservation of habitat.

Presenter: DAVID PONOROFF | ASSISTANT DIRECTORLarkspur Conservation

David is a native Floridian and longtime nature lover who graduated from the University of Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sustainability Studies, where he focused on the intersection of death, the environment, and politics. He began his career at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Gainesville, FL where he spent four years building the organization and the community surrounding it, becoming one of the nation’s experts on conservation burial practices.  He serves as a founding member of Conservation Burial Alliance. 


Program charge: None.    Become a member: $50 annually with checks     made out to ULLI and mailed to ULLI, PO Box 621, Pleasant Hill, TN 38578. Donations to ULLI are always greatly appreciated.
